Magic the Gathering Standard Showdown

Saturday the 3rd of June is the fourth week of the eight week Standard howdown event for Magic the Gathering.

The event itself is simple, each Saturday we will run a swiss tournament using the Standard format, rules for building a Standard deck can be found here: http://magic.wizards.com/en/content/standard-formats-magic-gathering

PRIZES
Having listened to the feedback from our previous Standard Showdown we will be doing prize support a bit differently this time. 

As well as the Standard Showdown boosters there will be a prize pool of 2 boosters per player at each event, and every player will be able to pick a promo from the shops collection as well.

Once again Wizards have recommend we award the Standard Showdown special booster prizes for the following things:

1) Undefeated players.
2) Returning players from previous weeks.
3) New players.
4) Players who brought a friend.

Due to popular demand we will now be issuing Standard Showdown boosters at the end of each event, we have 6 per event to give out and they will be given out based on the above points.
